If you are planning to go for a day out with a group of people, making sand sculptures on Scheveningen beach is a fun and unique activity, which can be booked throughout the beach season. 

It is a great idea for a staff day out or for corporate hospitality functions. Companies can book a special programme with an experienced sand sculptor who gives instructions on how to create sand sculptures in a huge sandbox, measuring no less than 150 m2 and filled with 100 tonnes of proper sculpture sand. This outdoor beach location at the north end of the Scheveningen Boulevard is suitable for groups of 20 up to 120. The Beach Company Restaurant will take care of the catering, from simple lunches with rolls and sandwiches to great barbecues. They can also provide a full evening’s entertainment.

If the weather gods are not on your side, sculpting activities may be moved to the indoor location at the ‘Sand Academy’ in Zoetermeer, close to The Hague (Zand Academie Zoetermeer). This indoor location is also suitable for meetings and corporate hospitality functions. The Zand Academie is open during the summer months.
