Great views of the Gemeentemuseum
In the summer months the terrace is open and you can visit the GEM and the The Hague Museum of Photography until 8 p.m. The trendy museum restaurant affords great views of the Gemeentemuseum; famous architect H.P. Berlage’s final work.
Interior
The design of the restaurant is very hip and trendy. Richard Hutten designed the furniture. From the mezzanine you can overlook the whole restaurant. The museum restaurant also boasts great art. The wall of the restaurant features the photo series Venice, 7 July 1999 by Hans Eijkelboom. The beautiful light art by Babak Afrassiabi and Ralph Meijgaard is stunning. The reading table, especially designed by Job Smeets, provides a quiet spot in the restaurant. A seven-meter-high sculpture by David Bade graces the terrace.
