The Big or St Jacobus church is the striking centre of the city. The New Church, across the Spuiplein, has been transformed into a theatre and party location. The Royal Family regularly visits the 'Kloosterkerk' at the Lange Voorhout. In addition, The Hague boasts the only Russian-Orthodox church in the Netherlands, a very small building just outside the city centre.
